In these times when all is painful and the good's not coming back
All that's left is hope, so give a little prayer for me
Ring the chimes of peace and freedom, against this cruel attack
The awaited end and finally we all are free
Won't you raise your eyes and see
There's life among the ruins, faces that are doomed
Give light into the black, the green is coming back
There's life among the ruins, faces that are doomed
Give light into the black, and life is coming back
In these eyes hollow from hunger, a smile, it won't return
To these dried out lips, they shattered every trust in you
Feed the broken, they are starving, enlight a flame to burn
In the hearts of those who want to see the light anew
Won't you raise your eyes and see
There's life among the ruins, faces that are doomed
Give light into the black, the green is coming back
There's life among the ruins, faces that are doomed
Give light into the black, and life is coming back
There's life among the ruins, faces that are doomed
Give light into the black, the green is coming back
There's life among the ruins, faces that are doomed
Give light into the black, and life is coming back

The cover art made me laugh my ass off. There are a fair few decent riffs here, but they're a bit buried in the mix at times. Enough already with the sequels.

Blistering blackened death metal with haunting melody lines throughout. The melody never overcomes but rather gives hypnotizing testimony to the churning rhythms threatening to pull the listener below the waves. This is music by which to summon the Great Old Ones. Robert Royer
