Nightfall has darkened these fields of winter
Snow white are covered my brothers out there
Bodies in camouflage, torn and tortured
Price to be free one more night
I was a student, my father a teacher
We loved our lives and we lived it peaceful
Now we must carry these guns and armour
With our end coming in sight
Doomed in our anger and fear of the downfall
We're forced to be dying to live
Senseless aggression to kill and destroy all
We're forced to be dying to live
Sacrificed for our hope for redemption
Although we had so much to give
We're dying to live
Trust in our cultural evolution
Was built on sand, like our constitution
No one believed this would come back to us
We felt so safe and secure
How can one man dare to throw the whole world
Into the abyss of ruin and downfall
Tyranny offers just death and destruction
There is no future for sure
Doomed in our anger and fear of the downfall
We're forced to be dying to live
Senseless aggression to kill and destroy all
We're forced to be dying to live
Sacrificed for our hope for redemption
Although we had so much to give
We're dying to live
Please give us peace
We gave it all we can give
We can't take no more
Cause we are dying to live
Doomed in our anger and fear of the downfall
We're forced to be dying to live
Senseless aggression to kill and destroy all
We're forced to be dying to live
Sacrificed for our hope for redemption
Although we had so much to give
We're dying to live
We're dying to live
The cover art made me laugh my ass off. There are a fair few decent riffs here, but they're a bit buried in the mix at times. Enough already with the sequels.
Best track: Hymn 66. Worst track: One More Shot at Glory. tmtvl
Blistering blackened death metal with haunting melody lines throughout. The melody never overcomes but rather gives hypnotizing testimony to the churning rhythms threatening to pull the listener below the waves. This is music by which to summon the Great Old Ones. Robert Royer
